I love September. It's my favourite month in my favourite season. What's there not to love? The clothes are great, the colours are beautiful and the weather is perfect. The girls go back to school and I get back into my studio with renewed energy (along with fewer interruptions). A welcomed routine returns to my world as another year begins.I started a new mirror design this summer, my ode to September and the colour orange. The mirror isn't finished yet (too many interruptions?). Above is a sneak peek of the sample board. Stay tuned to see the finished product...

How appropriate - pencils and school. The mirror would look great in the principal's office.

Interesting all the attributes given to the colour orange- power, healing, enthusiasm and creativity, vitality with endurance, thoughtfulness, sincerity and curiosity. And to top it off, Lady luck's colour is orange!
Hmm ... the pencil is a creative tool ... perhaps the mirror would complement an art director's loft - it's such a challenge to imagine where.
