Six Owls and A Party
My first self-published children's book using Blurb is now available for all to read.
It all started with a sketch and a small unfinished mosaic; that owl mosaic sparked an idea that became my owl project that sparked another idea that became a book, Six Owls and A Party.
There were lots of rewrites, countless hours of mosaicking and (probably) one too many proofs ordered... and now it's here. Yeah!

Well done, Karen! All those creative ideas and 'countless hours' has produced a very lovely children's book. The colourful, mosaicked owl characters are appealing and make me smile. I wish I had some little ones but want one (hopefully signed) for my book collection.

I like the book! it is amazing what you can do with pieces of class beads, tiles and rhinestones. It put a smile on my face!!!!!
